Best Western Plus Chalmette Hotel

Little Wings and I went to Mardi Gras and stayed at this hotel. The exterior and entrance had a great appearance, the rooms were worth the stay the team were all very professional and assisted with a great deal of questions about the area. Location is good, away from the busy streets yet minutes away. Rooms were excellent with comfy beds. Staff were very helpful.Breakfast had good options and variety. Edit 1 - 4 stars due to the gym. Gym needs improvement by

We had an incident overnight that took around 30 minutes to resolve with the room not opening at 2 am. I called the general manager about the incident that next monday and he was very apologetic over the whole situation and gave us a partial refund.

stayed here for Mardi gras 2026 and it was great in many ways. the beds and flooring were all just upgraded and remodeled, and i slept like a baby each night. It's also a convenient location; short walk to Aldees, a nice Mexican restaurant, and a few fast food locations across the street.

I mostly enjoyed my stay. The staff was great. Breakfast was great. My husband made sure to leave a tip and I implore anyone who eats breakfast to do so as well. The best part honestly was the orange juice and biscuits and gravy and if you’re lucky to grab some bacon. Besides my room being beside someone who decided to blast music at 4 in the morning and start partying my stay was still pleasant. Thin walls…it was a good distance from anywhere I wanted to go family and festivities.

I arrived early, and the front desk at BW Plus Chalmette immediately stored my luggage and later offered an early check-in to my reserved room, which was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Several staff members, especially Brasha on the overnight shift, provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond to help me find a tea I loved during my stay. The hotel’s modern design, welcoming atmosphere, and strong temperature control in the rooms made the experience even better. Breakfast was standard, and parking was a bit limited due to nearby construction, but still manageable. Overall, this hotel offers great value, friendly service, and a location that makes you feel like part of the community. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to New Orleans

Born here but no longer live here. Happened to be passing through when my vehicle acted up and had to stay two separate nights. I liked my first room better than the second, but nice overall and very friendly. We did have to kill a hornet in our room (yes a hornet), but it’s Louisiana. For the safety, value, and cleanliness, it was fine and I was satisfied. It’s close walking distance to various places for food and drinks. Also the area is relatively safe which can be hard to spot, and that was the number one priority for me. We even left big screen TV in the car both nights and had no issues.

An awesome experience! This hotel is clean clean! Staff is terrific! Outside grounds need more places to sit &enjoy the weather & for those who smoke.. How about some privacy fencing so one can relax and enjoy the outdoors without having to see the busy traffic around the hotel? This does impact one's stay that enjoy spending time outdoors while staying at this hotel.. Yes outdoor space is space is limited however improvements can definitely can be made to the outdoor space!!! Only part of the experience that was disappointing..
